50 Ways to Embrace This Moment

As a transition life coach for Embracing This Moment, many people ask:  How do I embrace the moment?
So, here are 50 ways to embrace more of each moment…

  1. Get curious.  Ask questions.
  2. Let go of perfection and doing things “right.”
  3. Release expectations about how it has to be.
  4. Listen.  Listen to listen, not to respond.
  5. Be compassionate, to others and to yourself.
  6. Release the burdens and the baggage of the past, they do not define you.
  7. Don’t live for when “you get there.”
  8. Find meaning in each moment.
  9. Say what you mean, and mean what you say.
  10. Be honest with yourself and with others.
  11. Accept that you may not be where you want to be.
  12. Let go of the shame of the mistakes you might have made.
  13. Get grounded.
  14. Allow and embrace gratitude and grace.
  15. Validate your emotions and the emotions of your loved ones.
  16. Be willing to let go of fear.
  17. Give yourself what you need when you need it.
  18. Breathe deeply.
  19. Stay in tune with your senses–what are you smelling, tasting, hearing, seeing, feeling?
  20. Admit to yourself what you want.
  21. Be thoughtful.
  22. Make healthy choices.
  23. Stand in your integrity.
  24. Live your worth.
  25. Live a life in line with your value system.
  26. Realize judgement will never get you as far in life as compassion and kindness.
  27. Remember that resentment removes you from your life.

  31. Give yourself the much deserved credit for the accomplishment.
  32. Remove stress from the situation before you make the choice.
  33. Honor your freedom to do as you please.

  38. Develop opportunity for lifelong learning.

    • Thanks for the support, the share, and checking in!
      I think the shift from proving our worth to living it, well, it gives our lives the power we want, to make the decisions, to validate our own truths, and to trust our innate sense of self. It sounds small, proving vs living, but it changes it entirely.
      Kudos to making it half way through the 31dbc! It’s been a great journey reading and sharing. Thanks again for the support. 🙂
